Josef Manner & Comp AG was founded in 1890 by a man with a simple ambition: better quality at fair prices. The Original Neapolitaner Schnitte followed in 1898, and its recipe has not changed since. Today Manner produces its iconic pink-packaged wafer at the same Hernals address where it has been made for well over a century, alongside a wider family of Austrian confectionery brands including Casali, Napoli, and the Mozartkugel manufacturer Victor Schmidt.
